Festival Wedding near Findon – Billie and Craig
Fun, relaxed and colourful
When Billie and Craig first got in touch with me about their festival wedding in Findon, I was so excited – they were planning such a fun festival wedding with a beach ceremony, a live band and even had a delicious hog roast. Billie and Craig seemed like the most fun people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
I turned up at Downs View Bed and Breakfast, where the bride was getting ready, and it was so relaxed, because everyone was in a good mood. Billie wore a dress from WED2BE and Craig wore suit from Passport (St james street Brighton) & Debenhams and they looked so incredible.
The wedding took place Brighton Bandstand, and was a intimate legal ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which everyone enjoyed. After the ceremony there was a big cheer from everyone, and then we went and did some beautiful portraits.
The wedding reception took place in a field near Long Furlong A24 Findon, which was full of complete festival vibe. It was incredible.
It was a beautifully sunny day, which was perfect. While the guests hung around drinking Prosecco, the couple mingled while I took candids. My favourite photo from our portrait session is was at Brighton Bandstand.
During the reception they had a live band, which everyone loved. For the wedding breakfast they served a hog roast, and it was absolutely delicious. After dinner there were a few speeches, then the couple had their first dance and the party got started. They also had live music, which was so entertaining. The couple before I finished performed with their band Carnival Collective as a surprise for all the guests.
Here’s their amazing festival wedding!
