However, much a bride plans their big day, it’s always nice when their groom throws in a few surprises, this was certainly the case for Charlotte and Ben’s special day at Park House Hotel and Spa. Taking place on Sunday 19th March, Charlotte wore an elegant lace sleeved gown, while Ben opted for a traditional tweed suit.
During the ceremony, the couple were joined by their closest friends and family – including a surprise chimney sweep!
The couple then enjoyed a variety of romantic couple and family shots before surprising their guests with a pretend first dance. Breaking with tradition again, Charlotte and Ben then cut into their tasty cheese board wedding cake – guests with a sweet tooth weren’t forgotten however as there were plenty of sweet jammy dodger and shortcake options made by the bride herself. The day was then completed with some romantic moonlit shots of the couple.
