Any Portsmouth or Southampton resident will be able to tell you about the longstanding rivalry between the cities. However, Cherie and Wayne decided to take the best of both locations for their special day, with a ceremony at the Mildam Registry office in Portsmouth and a reception in the Dolphin Hotel in Southampton.
Taking place on the 29th April, it was a bright sunny day for the couple as they said their vows in a romantic, laughter and smile filled ceremony. And wearing an elegant embellished dress with a matching tiara, Cherie looked every inch the princess, as she became Wayne’s wife.
The wedding party then joined together for some sunny shots in the registry office grounds before everyone made their way to Southampton for the wedding breakfast and entertaining speeches.
Cherie and Wayne then cut their rose detail wedding cake and took to the dance floor for the first time as man and wife.
