Fun and family are the secret to any happy wedding. Thankfully on Hayley and Steven’s big day, there were plenty of both. Taking place on the 29th October at the Southdowns Manor hotel, the wedding began with me photographing Hayley, as she got ready in her lovely white strapless, fish tail dress. Amongst the photos, there was a particularly special moment when Hayley’s dad saw her in the dress for the first time. My second shooter, Denise meanwhile took images of Steven busily greeting the wedding party as they arrived at countryside venue. I then enjoyed a fun moment with the groomsmen for some more happy photos, before the couple’s smile, tear and laughter filled ceremony began.
During the ceremony, Hayley and Steven ensured everyone had a job to do, including their little boy, who walked down the aisle with a special sign. As the couple walked down the aisle for the first time as husband and wife, the wedding party joined together for a creative confetti moment. I then took a mix of group and couple shots, whilst Denise captured photos of the guests mingling.
It was then time for the speeches, leading to Hayley and Steven’s romantic first dance and the all-important cutting of the cake. There was more fun to be had when the bridesmaids did a special dance routine with the live singer’s instructions, before the day was brought to an end with a lovely dance routine from Hayley and her daughter.
Thank you to my second shooter Denise

Hayley and Steven Review 5* – “We were lucky enough to have Joanna as our photographer at the end of October this year. She was professional, attentive, efficient and friendly- always answering my questions leading up to the big day within hours. The photos are amazing, looking through them was like re-living the day!
