A BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN WEDDING IN PETWORTH, WEST SUSSEX – JOHANNA AND SIMON

When Johanna and Simon first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so happy – they were planning the most relaxed autumnal wedding with an intimate ceremony and a lovely meal with friends and family for the reception. Johanna and Simon are the nicest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Getting ready

I started at The Angel Inn, Midhurst, where the bride was getting ready, and it was so chilled out, because everyone was in a good mood. Johanna wore a lacy dress and Simon wore a three-piece suit and they looked really beautiful.

The ceremony

The wedding took place at St Mary’s Church, Easebourne, and was a romantic ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which was so beautiful. After the ceremony they walked down the aisle together, and then we went and did some beautiful portraits.

The reception

The wedding reception took place at a friends barn, which was decorated so nicely. It was so personal.

It was a sunny day, which was what the couple had hoped for. While the guests enjoyed drinks at the bar, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from our couples session is later in the evening at golden hour. Check it out below!

During the reception they had a lovely meal with friends and family, which everyone loved. For the wedding breakfast they had proper wedding grub, and it was super yummy. Afterwards, they had some wonderful speeches and kept everyone dancing all night. They also had a live band, which everyone loved.
