When Lauren and James first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so happy – they were planning a beautiful barn wedding with an intimate ceremony and a lovely meal with friends and family for the reception. Lauren and James are the nicest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
Getting ready
I started at Blackstock Country Estate, where the bridal party was getting ready, and it was so chilled out, because everyone was in a good mood. Lauren wore a classic white dress and James wore a three-piece suit and they looked really perfect.
The ceremony
The wedding took place at Blackstock Country Estate, and was a romantic ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which brought pretty much everyone to tears. After the ceremony they walked down the aisle together, and then they were showered with confetti.
The reception
The wedding reception took place Blackstock Country Estate, which was decorated so beautifully. It was so gorgeous.
It was a slightly rainy day, which wasn’t in the plan but the couple didn’t mind. While the guests enjoyed drinks at the bar, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. During the reception they had a lovely meal with friends and family, which everyone loved. For the wedding breakfast they had a slap up meal, and it was super yummy. Afterwards, there were a few speeches and kept everyone dancing all night. They also had a homemade photobooth, which everyone loved.
