When Rebecca and William first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so excited – they were planning a relaxed barn wedding with an intimate ceremony and a lovely meal with friends and family for the reception. Rebecca and William are the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
GETTING READY
I started at Southend Barns, where the bride was getting ready, and it was so chilled out, because everyone was in a good mood. Rebecca wore a floor-length gown and William wore a three-piece suit and they looked really perfect.
THE CEREMONY
The wedding took place at Southend Barns, and was a romantic ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which brought pretty much everyone to tears. After the ceremony they walked down the aisle together, and then the celebrations began.
THE RECEPTION
The wedding reception took place Southend Barns, which was decorated so lovely. It was so beautiful.
It was a sunny day, which was what the couple had hoped for. While the guests enjoyed drinks at the bar, I did some family photos. My favourite photo from our couples session is later in the evening at golden hour and sunset. Check it out below!
During the reception they had a lovely meal with friends and family, which everyone loved. For the wedding breakfast they had proper wedding grub, and it was so yummy. Afterwards, they had some wonderful speeches and kept the party going all night. They also had a live band, which everyone loved.
