Chawton House Library
Chawton House Library is just amazing and has so many areas for photographic opportunities. If you are a lover of books an British history (Jane Austen) then I highly recommend this venue. The house, built by the Knight family in the 1580s on the site of an earlier medieval building, had remained within the Knight family passing – laterally and by female descent on a number of occasions – until the twentieth century, when inheritance taxes and high running costs gradually compelled the sale of most of the outlying manor and the subdividing of the house into flats. Chawton House Library is a romantic country house – once owned by Jane Austen’s brother, Edward, and referred to as the ‘Great House’ in her letters.

Audley’s Wood Hotel
Audley’s Wood Hotel is such a lovely venue and whatever the weather you can find some lovely locations for photographs. The hotel was built in the 1880s as a private home for Thomas Pain, it subsequently enjoyed a rich and colourful history, with owners and visitors including the rich and famous. Today it is a 72 bedroom, 4 star hotel surrounded by woodlands and seven acres of private grounds.
