When Kirstie and Michael first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so excited – they were planning a relaxed hotel wedding with a church ceremony and a lovely meal with friends and family for the reception. Kirstie and Michael are the loveliest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
THE CEREMONY
The wedding took place at All Saints Church, Catherington, and was a romantic ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which brought pretty much everyone to tears. After the ceremony they walked down the aisle together, and then we did a confetti tunnel outside the church door.
THE RECEPTION
The wedding reception took place Langstone Quays Resort, which was decorated so lovely. It was so beautiful.
It was a sunny day, which was what the couple had hoped for. While the guests enjoyed drinks at the bar, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from our couples session is later in the evening at golden hour. Check it out below!
During the reception they had a lovely meal with friends and family, which everyone loved. For the wedding breakfast they had proper wedding grub, and it was so yummy. Afterwards, they had some wonderful speeches and the dancefloor was packed all evening. They also had a DJ, which everyone loved.
