For Anna and James’ engagement session on the 23.04.15 we decided to go to Slindon, West Sussex. A popular spot for country walks, this country location is the perfect spot for warm days in spring, summer, and autumn, with much of the area overhung and shaded by trees.
Slindon is also the National Trust’s largest traditional estate on the South Downs. However, what makes this such a great photo spot is the superb show of bluebells under the ancient beech trees there from as early as mid-April. These provided a beautiful backdrop for Anna and James’ photos where we used a wicker heart and Anna’s engagement ring for an added romantic touch.
