When Lauren and Gary first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so happy – they were planning the most relaxed barn wedding with an intimate ceremony and a lovely meal with friends and family for the reception. Lauren and Gary are the nicest people and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

Getting ready

I started at Farbridge, where the bride was getting ready, and it was so chilled out, because everyone was in a good mood. Lauren wore a lacy dress and Gary wore a three-piece suit and they looked really beautiful.

The ceremony

The wedding took place at Farbridge, and was a romantic ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which brought pretty much everyone to tears. After the ceremony they walked down the aisle together, and then we went and did some beautiful portraits.

The reception

The wedding reception took place Farbridge, which was decorated so lovely. It was so personal.

It was a sunny day, which was what the couple had hoped for. While the guests enjoyed drinks at the bar, we wandered around the venue doing fun and creative portraits. My favourite photo from our couples session is later in the evening at golden hour. Check it out below!

During the reception they had a lovely meal with friends and family, which everyone loved. For the wedding breakfast they had a slap up meal, and it was super yummy. Afterwards, they had some wonderful speeches and kept everyone dancing all night. They also had sparklers, which everyone loved.
